Rhythm

In order everything to be ready when it's time start with dessert as it takes longest to be ready.

Then antipasti, which you and guests can enjoy while primo piatto is on it's way and ready just in time when last piece of antipasti finds it's way to mouth.

If you make the secondi piatto, for instance lasagne, you can prepare the Bechamel, beef Ragu, assemple lasagne and while it's in oven you can make primo piatto.
While lasagne is cooling at leased half an hour, primo piatto is served.

But before that lets select a good bottle of wine and let it breath while the magic happens in kitchen.

A glass or two won't do harm while cooking.
