Responsibilities

  • Develop and curate a diverse and appealing menu that caters to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences.
  • Craft menus that complement the serene ambiance of sunset sailing, incorporating local and seasonal ingredients.
  • Prepare and present high-quality, visually stunning dishes that align with the brand's standards.
  • Oversee the entire culinary operation during sunset cruises, ensuring a seamless and delightful dining experience for guests.
  • Maintain strict quality control standards for all food items, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and overall dining experience.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of food quality and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Lead and manage a culinary team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and ensure excellence in food preparation.
  • Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure fresh, high-quality ingredients are consistently available.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Implement and enforce proper food handling procedures to guarantee the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with the hospitality team to understand guest preferences and dietary restrictions, providing personalized dining experiences.
  • Be present during sunset cruises to engage with guests and receive feedback, continually striving for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Creative flair with a passion for delivering unique and memorable dining experiences.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Valid work permit for EU
