We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chief Stewardess to lead our hospitality team on board our luxury vessels. As the Chief Stewardess, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to our guests, creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. This position demands a keen attention to detail, impeccable organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team of stewards and stewardesses effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the stewarding team, ensuring seamless coordination of all hospitality services.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Oversee the delivery of personalized and attentive services to guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring an unforgettable experience.
- Handle guest feedback and concerns with diplomacy, aiming for swift resolution and maintaining a positive atmosphere on board.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the skills of the stewarding team.
- Provide guidance on service standards, etiquette, and protocol to maintain a consistently high level of service.
- Manage inventory of guest supplies, linens, and amenities.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely restocking and maintenance of inventory levels.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure that guest cabins and common areas are meticulously prepared and maintained.
- Implement and uphold cleanliness standards to meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events and celebrations on board, ensuring flawless coordination and service delivery.
- Collaborate with management to develop and manage the hospitality budget.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chief Stewardess or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury travel or yachting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Impeccable communication and diplomatic skills.
- Knowledge of proper etiquette and high standards of service.
- Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures related to guest services.
- Valid work permit for EU
